King's Crown combs are handmade of high quality natural cellulose acetate material (or "nature's plastic"), which is derived from vegetable matter. Cellulose has served as a preferred forming material as far back as 1863. Cellulose acetate is very strong, flexible, and tactile, and will give you many years of excellent service, without diminishing in quality.
